A big welcome to all the new families who have joined Goslings this term.

We had a busy summer with the holiday club and making changes to our outdoor area, we have added bug area, roundabout with herb plants, an open end resource, the small role play shed is now a vets and our outdoor room is now ‘Percy the park keepers cottage’ which includes a nice book area too.

We have brought the clamber hill we were fundraising for and that is now in place.

​October planning
During October our planned focus activities will be on the theme of ‘myself’.  The children  will be:

Using the sand tray to practice forming the first letter of their names

Building their names using their name cards as reference

Playing a food lotto game and talking about the foods which are good for them

Talking about their home, ( house, flat, bungalow etc), drawing a picture of this and adding their house number .

Our prime activities for children aged 2 will be:

Sharing a puzzle with another child, talking about the pictures

Sitting in a circle and rolling a ball to different children, using the children’s names

Using percussion instruments and copying an adult
