Our Story
Our Story began when Gayton playgroup was founded in 1974. As demand increased for our services we moved to our very own purpose built building in the grounds of the former Gayton Primary School in 2005 and changed our name to Gayton Goslings Daycare Centre.
With every great story, we began to out grow our first home and as Gayton Primary School was in need of a bigger site as well, we where successful in having a new state of the art building built right next door to the new primary school.
In September 2022 we moved to our new building with two separate playrooms. A nursery room for 2–3 year olds and a pre-school room for 3-4 year olds.
Our new building also offers us a fully functioning kitchen, allowing us to provide meals for the children, Please see our menu's here.
Registering your child with us
If you would like your child to attend Gayton Goslings, please do not hesitate to get in touch, we do operate a waiting list and registration is advised as early as possible.
You are welcome to come and have a look around first, this can be arranged by contacting the setting.
Where possible the settling in process starts with a home visit from the Centre Manager and your child's key person. This is often the first time your child will meet a member of staff and gives us a chance to see how your child operates in their own environment where they are the most confident. We will make notes on the things they like to play with and it gives us the opportunity to tell you a little more about Goslings and discuss any concerns of questions you may have.
This is followed up with a visit to Goslings and then your child starting. Your key person will spend a couple of weeks getting to know your child and liaising with you to ensure each child gets the best possible start.
At Gayton Goslings Daycare Centre, we believe every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where they can grow, learn, and flourish. Located in the heart of our community, we provide high-quality childcare and early education for children aged 2-4 years as well as wraparound/half term care for ages 2-11 years.
